Project Campaign Manager

Job Description

A consortium of NGOs is seeking a full time, highly motivated and experienced Project Campaign Manager for a 28-month project, based in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have significant experience as a campaigner and a passion for promoting transparency and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive campaign strategy to raise awareness about corruption and promote anti-corruption initiatives
  • Coordinate and manage all project activities, ensuring timely execution and adherence to project goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify key target audiences and develop tailored campaign messages
  • Oversee the creation and dissemination of campaign materials, including digital content, press releases, and promotional materials
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant organizations, government agencies, and media outlets to maximize campaign reach and impact
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, tracking key metrics and adjusting strategies as needed
  • Prepare regular progress reports and present findings to project stakeholders
  • Manage project budget and resources effectively, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in anti-corruption campaigns and incorporate innovative approaches into project activities

Job criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. communications, political science, international relations)
  • Proven campaign experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and build partnerships
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, fluency in an African language an added advantage
  • Commitment to promoting transparency, integrity, and ethical practices

Salary range R35-37 000 negotiable
